Part A: Introduction
Deoxyribonucleic paneling (DNA) is a molecule that is present in the cells of all active organisms. It is the hereditary blueprint of lifeas it contains all transmissible information ab out(p) the organism in its cells.
The purpose of this experiment is to extract DNA from the cell itself and to be able to wait the DNA structure. Chemicals will be used to chemically enured in order to drop dead open the cell and nuclear membranes. The DNA will then be separated from the commixture containing the cell membrane and would then be altered in order for the DNA not to dissolve and able to resonate it with the naked eye.

Materials
Materials used for the experiment are listed down on page 25 of the lab manual.

Method
Method is listed under subprogram on page 25 and page 25 of the lab manual.
Exceptions:
* (4) No need in combining cooled mixtures of 2 teams. Instead, either team blends their own mixtures.
* (7) No combination of mixtures and therefore no need to divide onion liquid into 2 portions.

Results
filiform DNA formed after adding isopropanol to the mixture and spooled out and placed into TE buffer which protect the DNA from abasement and also for storage.





Discussion
1. Why is detergent used? Why is waken used with the detergent?
Ans:The detergent was used to break down the fat and proteins that make up the cell membrane. In presence of the detergent, the fat and proteins become imprisoned in the gook bubbles and therefore the breaking of the cell membrane.
Heat is to denature the protein so that it is no longer soluble and can easily be removed.
