Leukemia is a disease that kills thousands of heap a year. What is Leukemia? Leukemia is cancer that starts in the tissue that forms blood. (Medicine Net, July) Our goal was to research and plow how to fund a non-profit Leukemia arrest festival in simoleons, Illinois. We clear teamed up with Cancer of America, staple Center, Harpo net profit and Barns and Noble to tie this event to raise 100,000 dollars for Leukemia research.
Many people in our domain have been affected by Cancer or Leukemia in one way. The root word for having a fund raiser use a book festival was so near and serious to many peoples hearts. The event needed to be held in a place that was very public and had the size of it to hold many Chicago residents. The Staple Center has agree to offer their space and players to help promote this book festival. Barns and Nobles and Harpo meshwork have teams up with us on this project as swell up. Harpo Network is giving free public relations for the event. The idea is to have no admission price for the event, but alternatively each person is to bring a book. Barns and Noble is liberation to be on site with book tents, as well as have advertising in the stores.
For every book purchased at Barns and Noble and brought to this event, they pull up stakes donate two dollars.



Harpo Network has agreed to mail all the books to locations of hospitals for Leukemia patients to use. Activities for people to participate in at this event will be provided by the Staple Center very own Chicago Bull players. The Chicago Bulls have set up a round robin of sport activities stations for kids and families to participate in. All of these are world donated by the Staple Center.
Family and patients of Leukemia that are directly affected by the disease will be out speaking with people and enjoying all the activities for some good motivation.
