While all of these things do describe America and the people who represent here, there is so much to a greater extent to us. We are a group of diverse people who coexist with each other. In spite of this diversity, we manage to be evaluate of each other, show compassion for our neighbors and come together in times of need. One afternoon last month our nurture was working in one of our specialty clinics when she and one of our invigorated physicians began to discuss their choices for the next president. It quickly became apparent that their views on this cope were complete opposites. At some point in the banter their topic evolved to one about race and the doctor referred to her as African American. Her response to him was, I dont describe you Italian American, I call you white. Call me black, thats what I am. They did not talk to each other for the rest of the day. A couple of days later I was in the clinic with them and they were blanket to normal joking with each other, talking about their families and their individual plans for the weekend. It is a wonderful thing that we live in a country where we can freely share our opinions on issues and deem open debates about them.

Yet, when that is all over, we still work and live together in a relative balance. This balance is maintain because we accept that everyone is entitled to have their own opinions.
