1. INTRODUCTION
The world produces 50 million tons of electronic counteract per year. Most come from U.S. Britain and Germany and mostly goes to African and Asian countries such as Ghana, Hong Kong and India.
They arrive illegally in containers labeled as donations to ONG and schools to combat the digital divide.
This violates many rules and laws and causes many serious environmental line of works, problems with the health and crime rises.
2. THE MAIN PROBLEM

On the outskirts of Ghanas biggest city sits a smoldering wasteland, a pass carved into the banks of the Korle Lagoon, one of the most polluted bodies of water on earth. The locals call it Sodom and Gomorrah.
Correspondent Peter Klein and a group of alumna journalism students from the University of British Columbia have come here(predicate) as part of a global investigation -- to wipe a shadowy industry thats causing big problems here and around the world.
Their guide is a 13-year-old boy named Alex. He shows them his home, a small room in a mass of chanty dwellings, and offers to take them across a dead river to a disreputable area called Agbogbloshie.
Agbogbloshie has become one of the worlds digital dumping grounds, where the Wests electronic waste, or e-waste, piles up -- hundreds of millions of tons of it each year.
The team up meets with Mike Anane, a local journalist who has been writing to the highest degree the boys at this e-waste dump.
Life is really difficult; they eat here, encircled by e-waste, Anane tells them. They basically are here to earn a living. But you can imagine the health implications.
