passim the 1960s segregation was part of the history of the United States. racial segregation was the pain that m all African Americans went through. There were discriminated unjustly only because they were a different color. Segregation in the Unites States impact Birmingham the most as Martin Luther King Jr. expresses in A letter from Birmingham Jail, a letter that he wrote dapple he was in jail punished for standing up against injustice. Dr. King portrays Birmingham as the most segregated city by displaying the inhuman treatment of colored person people, the extreme poverty they suffered, and the conglome position minds of children.
Colored people received inhumane treatment passim segregation mainly in Birmingham. Africans were treated as if they were animals and not humans. It was the most unjust form of treatment to a human. inability to continue freely not only harmed them physically however it caused an increase of hatred towards society. Adult colored people were never viewed as a Mr. or Mrs. or never able-bodied to feel free to walk in a track and be treated with respect. Respect is what every human cosmos deserves but the fact that they were black respect did not experience in their society.



If an African America was to fall in have it off with a white person danger was the government issue. They were forced to live in a society that only included colored people.
Poverty was extreme for the colored society in Birmingham. Blacks were not allowed to obtain a stable job. There were not any jobs that would hire a black man or woman. The consequence of an employer was a low reputation of they were blacks within the job. Birmingham was also skirt by employers that did hire Africans; yet there pay rate was below the minimum wage.
