The pedigree of Robert Lee Frost occurred on March 26, 1874, in San Francisco, California. During his childhood, he experienced the sadness and abuse of an alcoholic father. When he was altogether eleven years old, his father died at the young senesce of 34, leaving Frosts mother to tend to Robert and his sister, Jeanie. His mother, Isabelle Frost, whence moved the family from San Francisco to Lawrence, Massachusetts. She struggled for many years to support the family. In 1892, Frost graduated from Lawrence High School, sharing Valedictorian honors with Elinor White, his future wife. Upon graduating, he entered Dartmouth College, but left before the end of the eldest term.
He married Elinor Miriam White on December 19, 1895. He entered Harvard University in 1897, after he and Elinor had their first of six children.
In 1900, the Frost family packed up and moved to a farm in Derry, untried Hampshire. That same year, Frosts mother, Isabelle, died. The years went by and Robert and Elinor steadily added new members to their family, having 5 more children, and losing two children, their first and sixth child.
