Topic: Isolationism

Overview: This symposium will study the American proposal of marriage of isolationism. The proposal of isolationism can be a debatable topic, as to whether it was a wise suggestion or not. The origins of isolationism as well as events that took place during the time will be discussed.

Subsections: The first branch will lease the joined States logical thinking for considering isolationism as well as its origins, including important people associated with isolationism. The act arm will involve the Neutrality Acts put into affect. Here, realizable debate could come into play. The third subsection will involve the Quarantine Speech and possible debate on whether this was counter-acting isolationism, as the US was involving itself again in foreign affairs. The fourth subsection will include pro and con isolationism, looking at the benefits and risks of the proposal.



And the last, fifth subsection will include the downfall of isolationism, incorporating the United States aid to others, before official American entrance into WWII.
