World War I, World War II, Cold War, war in Iraq; what do all of these US wars have in common? all single atomic number 53 of these wars was fought over seas, ever since the undeclared war in 1798 during the Adams administration. So this overlooked incident brings me to the overlooked, yet consistently perplexing question: why does the US consistently repel involved in irrelevant conflict? Ive make a considerably large amount of research on the subject and have developed stance in this upset that I feel is quite firm, and it is that the US is afraid of be called heartless. They believe if they dont police the world and pull aid in certain disasters they will be seen as tyrants and turned against by foreign nations, and it is a well-known fact that the US domiciliatenot survive without foreign supplies, especially with its constantly helplessness economy.
One of the main foreign supplies the US depends on is oil. We can relate many of our foreign to our need of oil and chastise now our foreign oil is below 50 share and our government is beginning to realize just how deep our foreign dependency is (debate). Foreign oil is the argue we went into the war in Iraq (debate).



If we didnt enter the war in Iraq we would have interpreted a major dip in foreign oil, and we are already running low (politifact). Thats just one reason for entering one of our many foreign wars, and the reason is US foreign dependency.
In World War I the US because of the Lithuania yes, but also because of propaganda. Wilson felt threatened of be seen as the bad guy and not entering the ball-shaped conflict and with Roosevelt thinking of running for another term he had to make the critical decision (wiki). In WWII the US feared that not helping Europe in their time of need would deduce back to haunt them in the long run (politifact).
